Why This Questionnaire Matters
As a personal trainer, it is important to dig deep and understand the client, not simply hand them a diet and workout program. A thorough analysis allows the client and coach to create a more accurate plan while minimizing as much trial, error, and guesswork as possible.
Think about what happens when you visit a doctor. They take your vital signs, ask questions, review your history, and use that information to determine the most appropriate course of action. Fitness coaching should follow the same basic principle: assess first, then prescribe a plan
Any coach who does not perform some form of client analysis is essentially shooting in the dark. It’s easy to say, “Here’s your diet” or “Here’s your workout,” but if you don’t understand what the person has done in the past, what they currently eat, how they live, and what challenges they face, how can you establish the most accurate starting point?
We don’t shoot blindly in the dark. We assess, analyze, and then build.
Take your time completing this questionnaire. Answer every question as accurately and honestly as possible. If you aren’t honest with yourself, you’re only cheating yourself—and making it harder for your coach to help you.
Once your questionnaire is reviewed, your coach will use your responses to develop a plan designed to give you the strongest possible starting point.
Take your time. Be honest. Be accurate. Let’s get started.
Cheers, folks!
